Where and when are your pastries made?

Our products are made in our home-based bakery in Singapore, where we have a separate set of cutlery and equipment specially catered for the business!

All pastries are baked within a day of delivery. This is to ensure freshness of the products.

We are also certified under the WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1, ensuring that we follow strict hygiene and safety practices when handling and preparing food.

What ingredients do you use?

We prioritize quality ingredients in our bakes whenever possible such as using locally sourced premium eggs, natural flavorings, French butter, and New Zealand honey. We use Valrhona* chocolate for the chips, tempered coatings, and drizzles in all our chocolate-based products.

Valrhona Guanaja - is a premium 70% dark chocolate known for its deep, complex flavor with subtle bitterness and roasted notes, offering a smooth, refined texture.

Valrhona Jivara - is a premium 40% milk chocolate known for its creamy, velvety texture and rich flavor with notes of malt and vanilla.

Valrhona Opalys - is a premium 33% white chocolate with a smooth, creamy texture and a delicate flavor profile featuring subtle sweetness, fresh milk notes, and a hint of vanilla.

Do your pastries contain allergens?

Our products may contain wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, corn, honey and barley. Depending on the designs of each chocolate tempered madeleine, they may contain traces of ethanol. Although we do not work with nuts in the kitchen, our pastries may contain traces of nuts as the raw ingredients are not certified to be nut-free.

Our packaging consists of a seasonal flower that are real and naturally dried. Thus, some shedding or petal drop may occur.

Are your pastries Halal-certified?

Our kitchen is not Halal-certified. However, we do not use pork, or lard in any of our products. Depending on the designs of each chocolate tempered madeleine, they may contain traces of ethanol.

How long do your pastries stay fresh?

As our chocolates are tempered, they will not melt at room temperature. However, depending on how warm the surrounding room temperature is
due to our sunny climate, they may soften & hence are best indulged within
a day. 

Keep all pastries in a cool & dry place, away from sunlight. For optimal taste and experience, do not refrigerate products as their original texture will be altered due to the difference in temperatures.

All pastries best consumed within a day, or transfer to airtight container to extend shelf life to:

Madeleines: 2 days

Brownies: 3 days (to reheat with preheated oven at 175 C for 3-5 minutes)

Cookies: 5 days

Do you offer seasonal or limited-edition flavors?

Yes! We occasionally launch seasonal specials or festive flavors. Subscribe to our email newsletter, or follow us on social media for updates.

Ordering

How do gift cards work?

When purchasing a gift card at the product page, you may choose your intended recipient, amount to gift and background of the e-card to be sent to the recipient.

As a recipient, input the gift card code into the discount field at checkout to utilise the gift card balance.

Do you offer customisations?

Yes, we offer basic customisations! You can select options such as sugar level, and types of chocolate for chips, and tempered coating or drizzle. We currently offer dark, milk, and white chocolate variations.

Variations of the same product type within a single order will be marked with a sticker and noted on the hang tag for easy identification.

Do you have a minimum order amount?

There is no overall minimum order amount — you’re welcome to order any quantity you like, subject to availability.

However, our pastries are sold in fixed-packed quantities. This ensures product quality, freshness, and consistent packaging.

Can I order for a specific occasion or add a gift message?

Yes! You can include a short gift message at checkout, and we’ll handwrite it on our complimentary hang tag.

Can I make changes to my order after it's placed?

Unfortunately, once an order is confirmed, we’re unable to make any changes as our pastries are made-to-order and scheduled for preparation shortly after purchase.

Packaging

How will my order be packaged?

Our pastries are heat-sealed for freshness and hygiene, and packed in our recyclable minimal-design boxes.

Each box comes with a complimentary hang tag with your customised message, tied with our embossed ribbon and floral decoration - perfect for gifting!

Payment

Payment Method

Payments can be made via Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Union Pay.

The order amount will be authorized on your card and only charged when the order is confirmed by us. This is to ensure consumer and chargeback protection for our customers.

All orders will be confirmed within 24 hours to assure that your selected date of delivery has been secured.

Delivery

Delivery Modes

We provide doorstep delivery across Singapore for $9.
There will be free delivery for orders above $39. Requests for specific 2 hr delivery timeslots may be indicated in the order notes, where it is subjected to availability and will incur a fee of $25.

Delivery schedule

Weekdays: 5pm - 10.30pm

Weekends & public holidays: 9am - 10.30pm

You may select your preferred delivery date at checkout. Orders require a minimum lead time of 3 days. Currently, we do not offer self-collection. In cases of rushed orders, please contact us separately to check on its feasibility before proceeding with your order.

We do not deliver internationally, or to restricted areas in Singapore such as Changi Airport, country clubs, or off-islands. Deliveries to special access areas (e.g. Sentosa, Tuas.. etc) will incur additional fee of $6. If applicable, we’ll contact you after checkout to arrange a top-up or alternative delivery address.

What happens if there is no one at home to collect the order?

We will first contact the recipient for option to leave-at-doorstep, leave with neighbour, or arrange a re-delivery. If the recipient is unreachable, we will then contact the sender to arrange for a re-delivery. A re-delivery fee of $20 will be applicable to the sender.

Due to Singapore’s climate, most of our products are temperature-sensitive, and are best consumed within a day of receiving them. If no one is home and the product is left unattended at your request, there is a high risk of melting or quality degradation, where we cannot guarantee its condition upon arrival and offer refunds or replacements.

Loyalty Rewards Program

Points Earning and Redemption

We reward customers through our loyalty points system where customers earn 10 Marouba Points for every $1 spent, as well as claim additional points for birthday months, and following us on Instagram.

Points can be redeemed for the following rewards:

$5 off coupon = 800 Marouba Points

$10 off coupon = 1500 Marouba Points

$15 off coupon = 2000 Marouba Points

We reward customers through our referral program. Friends get a $8 off coupon for their first purchase via the referral link. Customers receive a $8 off coupon when referred friends have completed their first purchase via the referral link.
